There are just four steps:

1) Your mug shot (photo or illustration) must have all three elements: 
you, a mug and the words carpe diem! anywhere in the pic;

2) send your mug shot to Pip here and put your name, town and country in the subject header;

3) come back within a few days and if you see your picture here, you or your friend go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aaalmanac and join. I will approve membership;

4) when you've had six months of subscription, unsubscribe or pay up;

5) there are only four steps (but there's no other way) -- no correspondence please.
